How does your contribution works?

Here we would just like to tell you a little about just a few of our children so that you can see exactly what life these children were used to before they found a new life with us. Your contribution is spent very wisely and transparently. It is our hope that in the future many other children who have lived the same unfortunate lives as the ones below will be able to receive our love and support. From your kind contribution the children will receive love, care, education and a safe home.

Children's Name Before Namaste ! Life at Namaste

Aieta BK’s mother, who is mentally retarded, was raped by someone from her village.   Shortly afterwards the people from the village found out who his father was, they forced him to take care of Aieta. The man’s family neglected Aieta and therefore we decided to bring Aieta to live with us.

Ajbira Saeyad was also forced to stay in jail with her father and mother who committed the act of selling a girl to India. There was nobody willing to take care of her.

Krishna Thami lost all his family members and property in a landslide except his mother who was extremely injured and unable to care for him. Krishna is from a small ethnic group situated in a very remote area of Nepal.

Lalita Shah
First child of the orphanage was rescued from jail. She was living with her father and step-mother that both had killed Lalita’s own mother.  This was a horrific situation for her. She is now happily living with us.

Melina Poudel was born prematurely and shortly after her birth her mother died of cancer. Shortly afterwards, her father hung himself. Her grandparents were too poor to take care of her.

Sumitra & Moti BK’s father left to go to India leaving them alone with their mother who is mentally ill. She couldn’t support her children in any way since it was impossible for her to work with this sickness. Nobody was able to take care of the two sisters. Their mother has been missing for over six months and is presumed dead.

A small donation can go a very long way in a country such as ours, especially by not being affiliated with any large organizations; we need your help now more than ever. Our overhead is much less than in other existing charitable organizations because we are one orphanage hoping to grow and you can be assured that your donation will go where it is most needed.

NCH’s goal is to help even more destitute children.  Absolutely anything you can do to help will make a difference in our children’s lives. Rest assured that your hard earned money will be spent with integrity to achieve the vision of Namaste Children’s House. Any level of contribution is highly appreciated and directly helps improve the lives of many little children in Nepal.
