Goals
Our
commitment to serve the Children of Nepal has been,
and always will be, our top priority. This
commitment has led to a world that stretches in
directions that one could never anticipate. Our
lives have become richer through the discovery that
meeting the needs of the Children brings rewards
that are beyond measure. One important factor that
has become quite apparent is the notion that without
the help of those who donate, money and time, our
project would never have gotten off the ground. By
becoming a supporter of Namaste Children House, you
can share in our success and we can all be an active
part in the development of an orphanage in Nepal.
You can enjoy the profound gratification that
accompanies social work, by donating a small amount
once a month. We would love to see our family grow,
the more members, the more Children we can help.
Perhaps, your acceptance of our Invitation to join
the Namaste Children House family may change your
life, but there is no doubt that it will
change the lives of the Children we are able to
reach. Their health and happiness is the groundwork
for the value of everyone’s life on this planet.

How You Can Help
-
You can
become an Individual Child Sponsor: $1000 US dollars
per year. This amount covers the costs of one
child’s food, clothing, housing, and education for
an entire year. This
commitment is made to the child until he/she is no
longer under the guardianship of Namaste Children’s
House.

You can help support our
Community Scholarship Program, which provides
financial support for the schooling of needy
children who live outside the Orphanage.

You could become a Volunteer or
Trainee.
-
Establish a charity in the name
of Namaste Children’s House to help fund our current
programs and future goals.

Provide general organizational
support.

Help us to begin and conduct
any social programs, like a Community Health Post,
or help in building the infrastructure within the
local schools, as well as, many other things.

Help us to buy land and develop
our Children’s Villages.

Future Plans
-
Purchase land on which to build a permanent home, village style,
with a health clinic, daily care for toddlers, and other facilities
in Pokhara. Eventually we would also like to create a similar
village around the Chitwan and Kathmandu regions.

We would like to establish a health care clinic on site, which not
only serves our village, but also provides low/no cost treatment to
the community.

We plan to create a Women’s Handicraft Center to allow more women an
opportunity to support themselves financially

There will also be an Elder Home for “grandparents”.

We plan to provide support in the form of teacher training,
infrastructure and funding for the local government schools.

There
are also plans for a “Family” style business to help support the
organization..
